Consul General Balatbat (left) presents a Quincentennial Commemorative basket containing Philippine products to Aichi Prefectural Governor Ohmura (right). The basket, designed by world renowned designer Kenneth Cobonpue, marks the 500th anniversary of the Victory at Mactan, the inclusion the Philippines as part of the first circumnavigation of the world, and the start of Christianity in the Philippines.
24 June 2022 - Consul General Celeste Vinzon Balatbat discussed with Aichi Prefectural Governor Hideaki Ohmura the Consulate’s expanded services in the new normal during their meeting at the Nagoya Kanko Hotel on 23 June 2022.
Governor Ohmura identified priority projects in the Aichi Prefecture priority projects including the opening of the Ghibli Park in Nagakute, Aichi Prefecture in November 2022.
