GUIDELINES FOR ALL APPLICANTS

In view of the increasing number of COVID-19 infections in Japan and to ensure the health and safety of our applicants and personnel, the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in Nagoya shall limit the number of walk-in applicants starting 25 July 2022.

These slots are in addition to Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) services being rendered, travel documents being issued, and other consular services being provided on an as-needed basis to walk-in applicants since June 2020.

Reminders

1. To facilitate the processing of your consular documents, applicants may wish to:

a. Download Consular forms from the Consulate’s official website through either of the following links:

b. Fill them out before coming to the Consulate.

2. Applicants are encouraged to reserve an appointment through the following appointment services offered by the Consulate for a smoother and quicker transaction,:

3. The Consulate shall accept only the following walk-in applicants:

  • Senior Citizens (60 years old and above);
  • Pregnant (if pregnancy is less than 5 months, please bring a medical certificate or maternity health record book/Boshi-Techo/母子手帳);
  • Children/Infants/Toddlers (7 years old and below)[1];
  • Persons with Disabilities; and
  • Applicants with emergency cases (applicants are to provide supporting documents pertinent to their emergency situation)

4. Applicants are advised to visit the Consulate’s Official Website and/or send an email to the Civil Registry Section at prior to visiting the Consulate to check the completeness of documents.

5. Visa application will be made through the Online Visa Application System (OVAS), which can be accessed through the Consulate’s Visa Section Website Page.

6. Only applicants will be allowed entry into the Consulate in observance of health and safety protocols. No escorts are allowed.

7. Walk-in slots cannot be reserved in advance.

8. Applicants not accommodated within the walk-in processing period of Consular Services may opt to come back to the Consulate for the next day’s walk-in processing.
