Join us for the Panel A: Emancipating the Philippines from Spanish Colonial History of the Session 2 of the Philippine International Quincentennial Conference.
The Session begins with the keynote lecture by Dr. Reynaldo Ileto of the Australian National University followed by Dr. Jaime Veneracion of the Samahang Pangkasaysayan ng Bulacan and Dr. Filomeno Aguilar of the Ateneo de Manila University. The panel is moderated by Dr. Ma. Luisa Camagay, President of the Philippine Historical Association.
This conference is an official program of the 2021 Quincentennial Commemorations in the Philippines and is in solidarity with the Year of Filpino Pre-Colonial Ancestors. This session is convened by the Philippine Historical Association and the Ateneo de Manila University Department of History with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines.
