The session explores the socio-cultural, political, and religious context of Southeast Asia in the 16th Century.

For Panel B | 16th Century Southeast Asian Culture, Prof. Archil Daug of the Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology Department of History and Dr. Pedro Luengo of the Universidad de Alicante will re-examine the cultural landscape of Southeast Asia in the 16th Century. Asst. Prof. Nicholas Sy of the UP Diliman Department of History will moderate this panel.
